Betta Fish Care Schedule
As pets, go, bettas are pretty low-maintenance—but there are a few important tasks you’ll need to do. Follow this schedule to keep your fish in the best health possible.

How to Take Care of a Betta It’s best to have your fish tank set up, conditioned, and running for a few days before you bring your betta fish home. The water conditioner removes chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, and ammonia from the water. It’s critical for keeping your betta in good health. Whenever you change or add water, it should be treated.

Bettas, tropical fish are those that require heated water, generally in the range of  24-27°C. 

Feed your betta everyday. In terms of food, there’s dry food in flakes or pellets. Since they are small fish and eat so little, it can be hard to get the right amount of flakes. The pellets are a little easier to control since they only need a few every day.
Remove any uneaten food to avoid fouling your water.

Clean your betta tank, changing a portion (25-35%) of the water every 1-2 weeks. Set out the right amount 24 hours before, and treat it with conditioner. When you’re ready to add the new water, scoop out the same amount of old water before gently pouring the fresh in. Occasionally you’ll need to do a complete water change and clean the tank.

          EASY PEASY SET UP GUIDE

          Setting Up Your FishWish Aquarium:
          1. Unbox in a Safe Place: Find a comfortable spot for your FishWish kit.
          2. Prepare Water: Use 1.5 liters of room temperature tap water, adding a drop of our water conditioner. Instant, hassle-free preparation.
          3. Clean Tank and Accessories: Warm water is all you need. Avoid harsh chemicals. For used tanks, a gentle solution of vinegar and water works wonders.
          4. Add Flower and Gravel, Decorate Your Aquarium: Carefully add your accessories, preventing any damage. Use the suction cup for the flower and arrange the beautiful gravel thoughtfully.
          5. Position Your Tank: Choose a stable location away from direct sunlight and busy areas. Your fish deserve a serene space.  Create a day-night cycle with our aquarium lights, enhancing for your betta.
          6. Add Your Fish: Gently introduce your betta,  Pour the water that came with the fish into the tank, and add the prepared water. Make sure to pour the water level 3cm below the top of the tank to prevent the fish from jumping
          7. After setup
           
          • Monitor Your Fish: Enjoy observing your betta. Their behavior is fascinating and soothing.
